Zainab Uche Imam is a Nigerian writer, born and raised in Lagos. She holds a Master’s in Media and Communications from Bournemouth University and a Bachelor’s in Performing Arts from Canterbury Christ Church University. With expertise spanning vocal studies, drama, technical theatre, videography, photography, and multimedia editing, she has cultivated a versatile skill set. An early draft of her contemporary romance novel, Love, Lagos & Other Complications, was a finalist in the prestigious 2023 Quramo Writers’ Prize, showcasing her talent for compelling storytelling. Zainab’s professional journey includes roles as a production assistant at Terra Kulture in 2021 and an assistant to the Director of Drama at the National Troupe of Nigeria in 2012, where she further honed her skills in theatrical production. In addition to her creative pursuits, she is skilled in technical writing and public relations.
